I'd like to know how to translate the following for a CV:

You can't exactly 'translate' it, since no exact equivalence exists.

I would advise leaving the title in FR and explaining what sort of qualification it is in brackets afterwards.

To give you an idea, it is SLIGHTLY equivalent to the old (now defunct) OND Catering in the UK, though that is a gross over-simplification!

It is a 16+ 2-year vocational course, intended for the less academically-inclined who would have been more likely to do some kind of Bac.

There does exist an organization with a website that verifies qualification equivalences, though I'm not sure it would be much help at this sort of level.
