saltos

Discussion

Pamela Fioravanti (asker) Sep 14, 2005:
Sorry Rebecca for the dely... this is not really The Four Seasons...It's "La tempesta di Mare" (Concerto in E Flat Major, Op. 8 No. 5, RV 253), Presto, which is also part of a series of concerts published under the title "The Trial of Harmony and Invention" (Il Cimento dell armonia e dell invenzione. Concerti Op. 8 ) that also includes the Four Seasons is also included.
Rebecca Hendry Sep 14, 2005:
If it's the four seasons, which season are we talking about? There may be a specific term used in English to refer to that part of the piece.
Rachel Fell Sep 14, 2005:
Rebecca: It's the 4 Seasons, isn't it Pamela?
Rebecca Hendry Sep 14, 2005:
It would help to know which Vivaldi piece we are talking about. It seems the "saltos" refers to a specific part of that piece.
