We have experienced a strange behavior from Studio 2015 on Word files from one of our clients.
Our team translates them into several languages, and when we clean the files, there is always source text in the end of the document (last 1 1/2 page).
At first we thought it was an oddity in the first file, but now we have had this on four consecutive jobs from the same client, but not on Word files from other clients.

Check that tags are in the right place
Apr 24, 2017
This definitely sounds like some misplaced tag in the translation to me. I would carefully check the tags at the place where this happens in the translation and see if the tags are in the right order and correctly placed in target.
There is a possibility that the translator is not doing the translation in Studio and does not run a last tag check in Studio. Personally I do the translations in Dejavu, but I always make sure to run a thorough check in Studio before delivering the trans... See more

I have quadruple (if not more) checked that all tags are in place, and they are. NOt that many tags in the text either. Have also made sure that all translators use Studio, and they do. Even translated one of the target languaged myself, and the error is there as well.
Only I see is that the segment it "crashes" on starts with tag for an image, but that have not been an issue earlier
