| New system glitch | Nov 30, 2012 |
There seems to be glitch in the new system. My own Kudoz questions didn't show up in a search until after 24 hours of posting and after I closed them.
And entries in the KOG or Personal Glossaries still do not come up, even though they do with the old term serch.
Are you aware of this?
PS: search "shadowbox", for example.

We are seeing the same: only one shadowbox entry under my name, kudoz.
If you use the old term search, you will see two more entries: my personal glossary and the KOG, which can't bee seen here.

I posted a question 2 days ago, I already closed it, but you can't find that term using the new search. Old search does come up with the kudoz question and the Glossary, though.
Search for: Pocket pages.

I'm afraid that, without the direct link to your search results, I'm unable to determine exactly why these results for "pocket pages" weren't appearing for you.
I'm sorry I cannot do more to help. If this should happen again, please be sure to post the term you are unable to find, as well as the direct link to your search results, here or via a support request.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The term could not be found due to a bug in the system. I have forwarded it to site developers for fixing. In the meantime, I have corrected that particular term so it can be found with the term search tool. Please let me know if you have any question.

You should be able to save your search settings by clicking on the "Search & save settings" button when making a term search from http://www.proz.com/search/

I have now added a field to that question, so it should come up when a relevant search is made. Note that you may have to adjust your search settings to be able to find it, since the detailed field I chose is not selected in your search settings.

Hi everybody!
So, until now, I have actually been a whole-hearted fan of the new term search, and I have been using it happily pretty much ever since it first came out, with very good results (for my languages, areas). BUT, as of yesterday, the new term search produces NO results whatsoever for me. In fact, it doesn't even search. I go through the very same process that has worked perfectly for months now: type in the word, click on "search", and...nothing. Not an error message, no change... See more Hi everybody!

Not an error message, no change on the page, the word to be searched for still hopefully sitting there in its little box but... no search, no translations, nada! Restoring default search options helps not a bit. But the old search engine does still work beautifully!
Is there something I should be doing differently? (I have not changed anything in my word environment: macbook air, safari, wifi... all the same). And the rest of the site (including the old term search) works just fine. I tried to hunt around the site a bit to see if perhaps there was an announcement regarding maintenance, etc. etc. that perhaps I had not seen but... I couldn't find one.
Any ideas as to what might be going on? I, for one, loved the new term search!
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
