没想到大家讨论得这么热闹。
bigger than bigger出来的时候我们几个群里讨论过，我一直认为“岂止于大”是神来之笔。
第二个大，意思是尺寸更大，第一个大，是说在尺寸更大之外还有其他更好更强的东西。
就此而言，“岂止于大”四个字可谓是翻译出了精髓，给人以回味的余地。

谢谢你的法文翻译，让我们知道法国苹果如何宣传 iPhone 6。不用担心，我们很明白。有关中文词语大部分其实都已经讨论过，例如 “尺寸”、“节能” 等，毋需重复。
从中也看得出，iPhone 6 这个 global brand 在其他语文宣传用词上，也挺一致的。
也可大概证明一点：在处理翻译问题上，苹果美国总部（或其委托广告公关公司）一定有发出明确指示翻译此广告的一些特别规定，从而让所有语文都能准确译出此品牌的内在和外在要求。

谢谢 Loise 提供的法文版译文。和英文对照着读了一下，觉得挺有意思。
“Plus grand que grand” 这句没有按原文逐字直译 ，因为那样的话 ，读起来象是绕口令. 加之推出的是一对新款手机 , iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, 这样译是有道理的( 英文 bigger than bigger 实际上也有这层意思 )。
在英文中 Big 与 Large 有些微妙的区别; 而 “grand “好象囊括了英文中 Big 与 Large 的含 义 。另外法语的 “large” 和 英文” large” 含义有些区别 ，法文 “large” 更强调宽度; “Plus large” 正好表明屏幕更宽大 。
此外 plus grand “en taille” ， “économe” en énergie 使意思更明确 。
我法文知识有限, 有错误理解的地方希望多多指教 。
