I've prefaced design with engineering to make the 'official' title 'clearer', rather than insert 'processing' plastics (Kunstoffverarbeitung in the first example sentence). Note - rather than 'plastic machines', the journalistic technique and trick I once learned of translating Maschinen as 'machinery'. Example sentence(s):
