trade union rights Explanation: I don't disagree with the previous two answers, but this is simpler and more concise. Trade union rights principally consist of the right to form or join a union. |

Freedom of association & Right to form and join trade unions Explanation: Your suggestions of freedom of association is correct as this term means that workers have the right not only join a trade union but also to form one. If you wish to use a term that explains this concept you could use a short sentence such as, right to form and join trade unions.
