Quando essa testemunha presta um depoimento, uma declaração solene ou, simplesmente, emitir algum parecer, tudo isto faz parte da prova:

Portanto, são as áreas/os campos de estudo gerais das testemunhas e até diria mais, são os "elementos ou meios de prova gerais das testemunhas".

Em direito, prova é todo meio destinado a convencer o juiz, seu destinatário, a respeito da verdade de um fato levado a julgamento.
