Visto Jurídico

português para inglês Direito/Patentes Direito (geral)
I have a service contract between a company and a service provider. The stamp below appears on each page which is a stamp from the Service Provider (Sociedade XXXX).

So, what would be the best way to express "Visto Juridico" on this stamp in English?

Context:

[selo]
Visto Jurídico
Sociedade XXXX

@ Judith, Go ahead and post it! You're the one who nailed it, and your suggestion is practically a synonym to that.
judith ryan Jul 10, 2014:
Examined by the Legal Depatment is an excellent option
Mario Freitas Jul 10, 2014:
... or you can just choose her suggestion and correct it for the glossary.
Mario Freitas Jul 10, 2014:
I'd say that's Judith's move She posted the closest to the actual meaning from the beginning.
Donovan Libring (asker) Jul 9, 2014:
"Examined by the Legal Department" seems most appropriate for this document and text, so if someone wants to propose that... I'll choose it
VERLOW WOGLO JR Jul 7, 2014:
Initialed If your attorney initialed it, it means he read it (and found it in order). The seal/stamp is merely to indicate/identify who is initialing (name, reg #, dept., etc).
Mario Freitas Jul 6, 2014:
Ah! I see. From the layout in your post, I thought there was a seal and then the "Visto Jurídico" below it. If it's part of the stamp and requires no signature, than it's sure "examined by the legal dept".
Donovan Libring (asker) Jul 6, 2014:
It is part of the stamp that has been stamped on every page of the document. So I imagine that it means that the legal department has examined every page. So that is why I'm wondering if it just means "Examined by the Legal Department"
Mario Freitas Jul 6, 2014:
It surely means it has been examined by a legal entity. However, when it stands in the end of a document, next to the stamp or seal, it refers to the countersignature or initials of the legal representative in charge (visto = rubrica).
Donovan Libring (asker) Jul 6, 2014:
So would this just be "Legal Department" or "Examined by the Legal Department"???
