I'm afraid I can't be very confident, but 'plastered cinder/breeze blocks' say 'cheap wall' to me (I can't open your link) whereas 'bovedilla' is a way of building the slab for a flat roof here in Argentina, and also in Mexico according to some links I came across. But I'm no expert in the subject. I'll see if I can find the links I mentioned.

@Christine Mexico! The fact that these terms vary so greatly is why I asked so many questions, especially as they are just part of a list of specs with no further context. Anyway, the translation has been sent and I went with "plastered cinder (breeze UK) blocks ", presuming "masilla" to be plaster. http://www.construrama.com/content/public/sitio/compromiso/c... but I realize that "bovedilla" can also refer to the vault/arch/dome/archway rather that the elements (blocks) used to build it. Even though the translation has been sent, please post an answer if you think I may have got it wrong if simply if you have a better answer. Saludos:)

Rich, what country is this for? These terms vary tremendously.

The coving would be at the juncture of the soffits (plafones) and the walls.

Bovedilla

This word is so common in Argentina that I was surprised to find how difficult it is to translate. In traditional Argentinian housing, one of the most common roof systems is wooden ties spaced in such a way that they can hold large flat bricks laid across them. Of course there are more modern systems now, and they often go by the same name.
