The Philadelphia Powwow was a great sucess and the weather was much better than February.(We were caught by a very bad snow storm in the Philadelphia Powwow of last February 25th) We enjoyed a lot and the food in the Chinese restaurant was very good.

We have a total of 20 people composed by 15 interpreters and translators with their husbands, wives and one of the translator's son was present as well. We have translators and interpreters of countries such as Spain, Israel Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus Canada ,Poland ,Pakistan, Brazil , Peru and different American translators. We have also translators of more than 15 languages.

I was surprised that some translators traveled far away from Philadelphia to attend our meeting. The longest commute was from Washington D.C. and Towson, Maryland followed by New York City and the North of New Jersey and the other ones traveled from Downingtown , PA.

Our conversations in the meeting involved the translation business development, usage of translation softwares, Different countries customs, different technics to improve the translation work. The benefits of being a.
member of Proz.com.

our meeting lasted for around 3 hours

I hope that everyone that attended this meeting enjoyed. We will meet again in a near future.
