I recently worked on a series of documents where poderado was power-of-attorney - as required by the Spanish notary and the California lawyer. Maybe that helps??

: "Poder" = power of attorney; the person holding it is the "Apoderado" or "attorney-in-fact". You need to get your terms straight. "Poderdantes"...

You're right Henry - the document was called an APODERAMIENTO, the people granting the power were called poderDantes, and the guy that got the power, well they just described what he could do. I should have paid more attention.
