Hi everyone! I'm translating an academic abstract and am struggling with making this phrase sound natural in English. Is 'the kingdom of money' a term used in sociology? Thanks for your help!



El hombre del siglo XXI: sujeto autónomo o individuo descartable o incluso “matable”

RESUMEN
El individuo parece triunfar. Es a la vez, sujeto histórico, sujeto de derecho, sujeto psíquico y moral. Está en el centro de todas las preocupaciones. Sin embargo, la victoria de la racionalidad instrumental ***acompañada por el reino del dinero y de la empresa***, el aumento del Estado y los repliegues identitarios que lo separan de lo colectivo, son signos de su real subyugación.
