Academic Transcript
I am translating an academic transcript from a university in Ecuador. The student's grades are based upon three exams. If they are in danger of not passing the course, it seems that they are given the option of an additional exam to raise their average for the course. The column with the score for this extra exam is "Supletorio."

retake / resit
Estos son los equivalentes de los términos "de recuperación" and "de repesca" (which we use in Spain). It is a second exam, which means that there has been a first attempt.

Translator Rose
: "make-up" test is the term we have always used in the university where I teach, and in much of the literature on testing.
