Italian term

terzi

Italian to English Bus/Financial Accounting
In the P&L statement, under ‘profit for financial year’ I’ve got ‘utile/perdita di esercizio di terzi’

And in the consolidated balance sheet:
‘patrimonio netto di terzi’,
‘Totale risultato complessivo attribuibile a terzi,
‘Utile/(perdita) d'esercizio di competenza di terzi’

And in the statement of changes:
‘Capitale e ris. di terzi’ and
‘PATRIMONIO NETTO DI TERZI’

I think it must mean other companies.
I’ve also got Dividendi erogati a terzi under CASH FLOW FROM FINANCING ACTIVITY, and I’m not sure if this is the same ‘terzi’ as above .

I.e., not the principal shareholder/s
Peer comment(s):

agree James (Jim) Davis : profit attributable to minority interests - or just minority interests.

agree Vincenzo Di Maso : azionisti di minoranza=terzi in this context

disagree Mr Murray (X) : 'minority interests' is not 'terzi', 'terzi' are non-executive 'shareholders' - on it's own, with no other adjective - 'terzi' (one word) is 'shareholders' and has been established in the ProZ glossary as such many times. It doesn't 'quantify' major/minor
