Aus einer Webseite für eine recommendation engine. Das Kaufverhalten eines users wird in Echtzeit analysiert, ein Kundenprofil wird erstellt und dem Kunden werden blitzschnell weitere Kaufempfehlungen gezeigt.

Wer immer einmal bei Amazon o.ä. etwas bestellt hat, weiß, worum es geht.

Hier richtet der Kunde (retailer) gerade seinen Account ein:
"Your login will be "p_" + your account name

Gehe ich richtig in der Annahme, dass der Kunde seine Produktpräferenzen in einer Rangfolge von 1-5 oder alle gleichwertig angeben kann? Und wie heißt das ordentlich auf Deutsch?

Ich habe auf diesen Teil der Webseite keinen Zugriff, sonst müsste ich erst mal heftig eine Kreditkarte zücken.

Explanation:
Ich würde es auch so auffassen, dass der Kunde eine Rangfolge von 1 bis 5 für jeden Punkt angeben kann. Dabei wird als Ausgangspunkt 0, also keine Verwendung, angenommen.
