Portuguese term

implicar-se a posteriori

Portuguese to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
Em Tfouni et al., mostramos de que modo a possibilidade de reconstrução de verdades particulares, a partir de um trabalho terapêutico com a escrita, alcança uma dimensão não diretamente acessível de o sujeito implicar-se a posteriori nos efeitos de como se situa (pela palavra dita e/ou escrita) na estrutura da linguagem.

Discussion

Edward Nelson Feb 29, 2012:
It is worth bearing in mind that the verb "implicar" has more than one meaning. It can mean any number of things such as prevent, lead to think, compromise, involve, get in the way of among others so context is imperative. Furthermore, a posteriori also means empirical(ly), which does fit in the passage's train of thought. I hope this helps.
