Es una palabra que me suena muy familiar, pero pensándolo luego de leer tu pregunta nunca supe como traducirla. Buscando un poco encontré ésta definición, que me pareció bastante acertada. Estoy de acuerdo con el autor del enlace, que no es la traducción mas elegante, y que puede parecer un poco larga, pero me parece muy apropiada. Espero que te sea de utilidad!
