Significa lo mismo que en cualquier otro contexto. En este caso a las clasificaciones que hace la OCDE sobre, al parecer algún tipo de pruenas de ciencias y matemáticas.

En plural se usa con "-s" y sin "-s". En Google la frase "en los diferentes ranking" = 318 resultados y "en los diferentes rankings" = 4440.
