(Further Education) College Leaving Certificate

Conveys the sense although there is no such named qualification issued by British FE colleges. However, BTEC, GNVQ or A levels would be too system-specific.
As with all education questions, the BE version will look nothing like the AE version and vice versa.

vocational school qualification

or
vocational school leaving certificate
and add the German qualification in brackets.

As always it's difficult translating qualifications and dangerous to label them with equivalents from a different educational system

disagree Diana Loos : I don't know whether this is meant to be BE or AE, but the expression "vocational school" doesn't mean anything to me as a BE speaker! I find Andrew's solution neater and closer to the meaning intended.

I just found that Kim Metzger had entered the term vocational school *diploma* in an earlier question for Berufschulabschluss (only one s). So if that fits the bill...
Example sentence:

Full-time vocational school degree or similar certification.

Peer comment(s):

disagree ciliegina : never a degree from a vocational school!

Seems to be used in the US, though. 11200 hits on google.
agree Erik Macki : Egad, I'm amazed at the "disagree": for U.S. English, this is by far the clearest solution! (Diploma is fine, too.) Typically vocational school degrees are AS degrees (associate of science) or AA degrees (associate of arts), depending on the field.
