I have been working with translation and journalism since 1974 after my university studies.
Recently I have been working for a small number of European translation agencies and a couple of direct customers with ENG>DAN and SWE>DAN as language combinations.
For my current clients I do work in areas like office machines, general IT, network communication, photo, machinery, safety sheets and educational material.
I have been working with translation software since the beginning of the 90's and am currently primarily using Trados (2007/2009/2011, and sometimes Star Transit, SDLX and MemoQ). I use Xbench and QA Distiller (qa-distiller.com) for local quality check of Trados translated files before sending the translations to my customers.
For all software/hardware translations meant to be used on Microsoft platforms I use genuine Microsoft terminology unless otherwise instructed. Education
