My name is
Lucas Monteiro and I am at 9^th semester of electrical engineering. I
am trying to start to translate professionally because it is something that I do
for a long time. As an example,
since I was in the first semester of college, I translate scientific articles for
me and for my friends, because in Brazil just a few people can speak english.

At the college, I always have been interested
in extracurricular activities. As i like to help people, I have been monitor
for six months and mentor “Angel” of freshman students helping then in their
first months. Moreover, I was challenged to project a sumo robot for a
competition, with so much effort I won it. As a senior student I wrote some
scientific articles “Analysis of the microstructural characterization of bamboo
fiber composites and cipo-titica”, “Characterization of composite materials of
sisal fibers, bamboo fibers and titica fibers with a length of 15mm”
and it was a fantastic opportunity when I could present them in a national
congress. Futhermore, I am an
integrant of an academic center, currently we are realizing a social Project
that consists in reform public schools.

Futhermore, last year I have been working with photovoltaic
projects, so I had do Search for information and to translate for my team,
because most part of the information is not available in portuguese.

Although I do not have worked formally for the
translation Market, I have experience and I am able to work for new clients, because
I am a competent, responsible and hard working person.
