I'm a full-time professional translator with 13 years of experience, specializing in financial, banking, insurance, legal and business translations from English to Romanian, Slovak to Romanian, French to Romanian.

Rates:
-- Minimum flat fee: EUR 50 (for texts of up to 1,000 English words)
-- Standard rate: quoted on a per-project basis, starting at EUR 0,04 per word
-- Rush rates: likewise quoted on a per-project basis, depending on the length and condition of the source-language text, and on the due date and/or time

Payment terms:
-- First-time clients: Payment is due upon delivery of the translation. (File(s) delivered in protected mode; password provided upon confirmation of receipt of payment via bank wire or PayPal.)
-- New clients (first 50,000 words): Payment due within 10 business days.
-- Established/ongoing clients: By individual agreement.

Translation samples:

-- Send me a small (150-wordish) excerpt from a prospective assignment, for translation at no charge

I pride myself on my ability to translate into natural-sounding Romanian and on my skills in finding descriptive, syntactical and commonsense solutions for difficult phrases in the source languages from which I translate.
Personally, I almost invariably translate only into my native language, Romanian. Yet, I have a trusted team of native translators for translations from Romanian and English to other Slavic languages, French, Italian, Spanish, and several other European languages.
