Looking at the picture, this ... ... could be something along the lines of "client-side (packaging/bundling in a) shell", maybe, because in such a diagram, you'd normally translate "Kern" as "core" or "kernel" (IMHO), and IT people (most, not all of them) should be very familiar with the "kernel-shell" metaphor as used in the description of operating system architectures.

Just trying to give you lead here.
