to get tapped on the shoulder in the bunk io lo conosco come modo di dire militare: vieni scelto per una missione essendo svegliato con un colpo sulla spalla menttre sei in branda (bunk, per l'appunto). Ovvero, vieni sceltro tra i tuoi commilitoni, nel mucchio dei tuoi commilitoni. Spiegare tutto mi sembrerebbe un pò complesso, forse un semplice "nel mucchio, nel mazzo, tra tutti i contendenti" va bene comunque!
