LoL!! Dec 2, 2005

You are right Dinny. Those last 3 words are of extreme difficulty!!) Sorry about that! I was just saying that it would be better to organize the powwow during a weekend since some of us are not from Athens. And those last 3 words had to do with the ProZ conference in Krakow…..I want details!!

Warm regards,
Betty

Weekend would be fine... Dec 2, 2005

I'm coming from the South of Crete, so weekend would be fine. Besides, I've never ever been to Athens before, so it would be nice to have a little time to nose around...

Greek forum posting? Dec 3, 2005

Do you think a posting at the Greek forum might help inform people of the powwow? I mean, many Greek speakers don't live in Greece, but still...

Re Greek forum posting Dec 3, 2005

Hi George! Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. There is a Greek Proz forum (http://www.proz.com/forum/63), which is used for Greek-speaking forum discussions. I thought it might be a suitable place to inform many/most potential powwow participants about the powwow. I thought you, as organizer, might like to make an announcement at the Greek forum. I guess that's all information there is.

Greek forum posting : Forum 63 Dec 4, 2005

That's an excellent idea! Sorry, but I wasn't aware about the existence of this forum. I will post then, the powwow tomorrow in this forum as well and I will invite all participants one by one. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Update? Where, when, who? Jan 24, 2006

Hi everyone. So, what's new? Now that the time is approaching I am not certain whether I can make it. I have so much work to finish, but I am trying to speed up to be able to take a few days off if this event is still "alive"??

Postpone it? Jan 24, 2006

Hello Dinny and everyone, I very much doubt it that we will be able to meet this weekend. The bad weather they were advertising has finally hit us here in Athens and things will only get worse in the following days. So, I guess we have to postpone it.
Hope to meet you all soon!

Powwow postponed until further notice Jan 24, 2006

Dear all,

As I have seen many requests to postpone and due to the recent hard weather conditions I agree to postpone the event for one or two weeks until the weather will be nicer and it will be feasible for everybody to attend.

In the mean time, I'm waiting your input regarding the topics to be discussed in order to make the related agenda: I would be also glad to have your proposal(s) on the date that you think is more convenient to you that this powwow will take plac
