On a Venezuelan high school transcript,
between the column showing the grade for the course and the column showing the date, there is a column headed T-E.
Most of the letters under this column are "F," but sometimes it shows an "R." All refer to a specific course. Basic high school courses such as "history of Venezuela" and "citizenship education." There is no further explanation.

Tomado de un instructivo del Ministerio de Ediucación sobre cómo llenar las planillas de notas en Venezuela:

"T-E: Escriba el Tipo de Evaluación mediante la cual el alumno obtuvo la calificación de cada asignatura, Final “F”, Revisión “R”, Pendiente “P”, Equivalencia “E”, Transferencia “T”, Concedida “C”, Quedada “Q”, Extraordinaria “X”. Ubicación "U". Libre Escolaridad "L". Revisión de Materia Pendiente"M", No Curso"*", Otra" (O)."

Normalmente coloco este tipo de aclaratoria al traducir las notas: T-E = Type of evaluation; F = Final; R = Passed by remedial examination; P = Pending (had to take the subject again the next school year to pass it).
