コロンとした usually includes the ideas of both roundness and chubbiness, but "chubby" doesn't really work for bags, and "bulbous" sounds unappealing, so...

Yeah, when I asked my husband to react to the idea of a bag that was コロンとした, he immediately described it as rounded. Thanks!

Puffy bag

I think コロンとした definitely means something puffy, but not necessarily rounded, as shows a rapid google image search and the following link
