Παραθέτω απόσπασμα από ένα βιβλίο με λαογραφικά στοιχεία που εστιάζει στα βιώματα παλαιότερων γενιών στο χωριό και σε μία προσπάθεια να διατηρηθούν ζωντανά τα ήθη και έθιμα των προγενέστερων.
...Ας αφήσουμε κληρονομιά στα παιδιά μας μνήμες, τοπία, ήθη, έθιμα, δηλαδή ζωή. Μνήμες από τις οποίες, εφόσον σεβαστούμε και ***ανάλαφρα σταθούμε πάνω τους***, θα αφουγκραστούμε τους ψιθύρους των προγόνων μας. Τα διδάγματα των ανθρώπων αυτών που έζησαν σ' αυτόν τον τόπο, που αγάπησαν, και τελικά έφυγαν από αυτόν, εξακολουθώντας, όμως, να αποτελούν μέρος αυτού που είμαστε σήμερα...
