Ein derartiges Verfahren zum Feststellen des Druckes in einem pneumatischen Fahrzeugreifen ist aus der US 5 396 b817 bekannt. Hier wird eine Zeilenanordnung von Kraftsensoren beschrieben, über die der Fahrzeugreifen rollt. Die Geschwindigkeit kann dabei aus dem Signalanstieg und dem Signalabfall bestimmt werden, während der Reifen über die Lastsensoranordnung läuft. Allerdings hängt die Messung der Geschwindigkeit über die Steigung der Flanken des Signals vom Reifendruck ab und wird durch Profileinflüsse sehr ungenau.
