Back to dental implantology after my brief foray into stamp collecting. My question is one of those cases where the right translation is on the tip of my tongue, but just won't come out. I think the meaning is "decorative/ornamental function", but just want to be extra sure - plus I have a nagging feeling there may be an even better phrase, but can't remember what it is. ... seems fine to me, considering the somewhat unusual term in German. "Cosmetic function" would be a more commonplace way to put it.

Ich denke, daß die Bedeutung "decorative/ornamental Funktion" ist, aber gerade besonders sicher sein möchte - plus habe mich nagging dort fühlen kann eine sogar bessere Phrase sein, aber kann nicht sich erinnern, an was es ist.
