Am more concerned about what "Doff-" means as it comes up a few times and I cannot find any reference for it anywhere (e.g. Doffroboter, "Taktzeit pro Doffvorgang")

Thanks :)

"Doffing" or "doffen" seems to be a synonam for "Spulenabnahme". Is your text about textile machinery? According to my Langenscheidt "e-Fachwörterbuch Technik", a "doffing system" is an "Abnehmersystem".

"DOFFING - removing bobbins spun full of yarn from a machine and replacing them with empty ones. The job is done by a doffer."
