Quizá sea mejor omitir "artificial", aunque aparezca en la descripción oficial de la prueba; ésta se realiza con luz artificial (lámpara de arco de xenón), pero pretende evaluar la solidez del color a cualquier luz, natural o artificial. Así pues, podría ponerse simplemente "solidez del color a la luz a temperaturas elevadas".

Creo que puedes usar varias alternativas mientras quede claro de qué prueba se trata.
