Client guidelines permitting, we will actively manage currency risk through the use of hedging. Because our currency decisions are made independently, the amount of currency management can vary by account based on the product and client-specific guidelines. However, we will constrain currency decisions to ensure that currency impacts are relatively modest and that our premium over time is derived primarily from stock selection. We look at four factors in calculating expected currency returns:
· Trade flows – We favour the currencies of countries that have greater current account surpluses (or smaller deficits) as a percent of GDP, based on four-quarter rolling averages.
· Relative interest rates – We prefer currencies with higher 90-day Eurocurrency rates.
· Purchasing power parity – We favour currencies with weak purchasing power, as measured by the OECD, since they are likely to appreciate to restore long-term parity.
· Price trend – We prefer currencies that have been strengthening for the past year on a geometrically weighted basis.

Ich habe die Formulierung "Eurozinssätze" bewusst vermieden, da es hierdurch zur Verwechslung mit den Zinssätzen für den Euro kommen könnte.
