: it doesn't fit with "scanning" nor " opération réalisable avec un logiciel d'acquisition des données" MUST BE some other kind of "tailstock"... like "tail stock"! ... until you get a better idea of the context!

c'est tailstock et non tail stock. Vous pouvez très bien utiliser un logiciel d'acquisition des données sur des pièces mécaniques

as per the picture in front of me , I agree with the proposal of Gilou.
Secondly, it might help people to add the extra terms from your original question, which were: "Plan, roller , tube or tailstock scan process"
It would be very helpful to know just what kind of 'ultrasonic scanning' is being done here, and for what purpose?
