: W zasadzie, to samo miedź wystarczy - wiadomo, że miedź pierwiastkowa jest metalem. I tak dobrze, że nie miedź miedziana.

: Można i tak - wiadomo, że chodzi o miedź pierwiastkową, a nie w związkach. Rudy/sole to już nie miedź, tylko zwiazki miedzi. Tak jak woda nie jest postacia wodoru ani tlenu.

: Szpinak zawiera żelazo - ale przecież nie żelazo metaliczne; utrwalacz fotograficzny zawiera srebro - ale przecież nie srebro metaliczne. Autor mógł mieć więc cel w podkreśleniu, że chodzi o miedź metaliczną.

Hence, it is not the metallicity (lustre, ductility, conductivity, etc.) that are important but the lack of association in an alloy (e.g., bronze) or a compound (e.g., copper oxide). Bronze - an alloy of copper and zinc- is metallic but is not copper metal.
