who saw the entire incident Explanation: I agree with Ivan's answer. However, I think the English should be worded a little differently (without changing the meaning). Without context, it is difficult to know what these people were witness to, so other options (than act/incident) are "crime", "event", etc. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2010-10-12 15:51:26 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Just thinking some more about this: This is more probably something to be done in the presence of two witnesses, so one could also say, "present during the entire act" (which would be closer to Ivan's suggestion). |
