"PM" is certainly very often "pour mémoire" (as a reminder, for reference, for info), and it would sort of work:
= "don't forget to add a little of (whatever), or not, as you see fit, since we are not going to complicate your existence by specifying precise amounts that in any case will not match your taste or health criteria"

: From what I found (being used to seeing "au goût" or "à votre goût"), PM does imply "to taste." Strange!
