: The only time temporary is used is when applying for TPS which is temporary and one type of relief/benefit. TPS is temporary protective status. C'ètait un example pour le term temporaire. C'est tout

Demande pour soulagement immigratoire
Mainly asking for a benefit under an immigration law. Petitioner does not have to be illegal to request such benefit. May have entered legally as in visa when crime committed here or legally married to someone of said country and is waiting for the visa number if spouse has applied for said person. Just the category of said petition is changing to battered wife.

Creole has nothing to do with translation. Looked up the word for relief and soulagement was an equivalent. If it were creole than would not be in Collins French-English dictionary. We agree to disagree
