... vielleicht kannst Du die ja auch noch einbauen. Ansonsten sind die "heftigen Umschwünge/Ausschläge" schon passend. Allerdings ist für mich der Bezug Deines Satzes nicht ganz stimmig (zur "wild ride" kam es doch eigentlich erst nach dem 1. Halbjahr mit der Entstehung der Subprime-Krise).

agree  Andrea Martínez: vielleicht trifft die turbulente Phase/Zeit es besser als mein Auf und Ab von oben. Denn der "wild ride" schüttelt ja alles durch; er bedeutet nicht automatisch Ausschläge nach oben oder unten, oder?
