Io andrei più che altro nel senso di comodità, comfort, agio... spingendomi quasi verso libertà (liberty).

Mi pare che questa domanda sia legata a quella posta da te ieri ("sensibilities").

"Abraham, for instance, never thinks of the future at all, except when he questions Yahweh's pronouncements. Yahweh knows everything about the future, but permits himself to forget it and to act like a human".

Mi pare di capire che Abramo stia bene anche senza conoscere ciò che gli capiterà (o forse proprio per questo motivo). Di qui "intimacy", lo star bene, a proprio agio, in questa condizione di ignoranza.

Ma solo tu hai davanti l'intero testo e puoi capire meglio se sto andando nella direzione giusta... Buon lavoro, g :-)
