Russian to English Science Management publishing
У меня есть две версии: executive editor; responsible editor.
Хотелось бы понять, кто есть кто и какие между ними различия. Не филологическое толкование, а кто они в реальной жизни. А возможно, есть третий вариант?

Это не то же самое, что "главный редактор"? Термина "Ответственный редактор" раньше не слышал, но по смыслу подходит editor-in-chief.

neutral Vladimir Dubisskiy : try Google for 'Ответственный редактор' - it's a common term.'Отв. ред-р' can be for 1 book only.' Exec.editor' is a full-time administrative position. That's how i see the difference.
