Это не то же самое, что "главный редактор"? Термина "Ответственный редактор" раньше не слышал, но по смыслу подходит editor-in-chief.

: try Google for 'Ответственный редактор' - it's a common term.'Отв. ред-р' can be for 1 book only.' Exec.editor' is a full-time administrative position. That's how i see the difference.
