My most recent job was translating for a Portuguese Engineering company, Tecnoplano. I had the task of translating over 50000 words in just under 2 weeks. They were on a tight deadline and contracted my services for their construction project in Africa. It was all about opening ditches, laying pipes and installing drainage, backfilling the ditches and so on... got some technical experience in engineering and construction.

The job previous to that one was translating 10 essays for a Portuguese Judge who was taking further education in Australia and needed those essays translated into English. That was quite interesting and gave me fresh insight into the world of Law.

At the same time I was working with the Cascais Criminal Court, translating legal documents into English as they needed to be sent to Great Britain in certain criminal cases.

I have been working with Boa Onda Produçoes, a Portuguese independent film maker, where I have done several subtitling jobs for them. So have a fair bit of experience translating videos and audio tapes.
