Bio
I graduated in Translation and Interpretation Studies of English officially in 2009. I started volunteering for UNICEF as a translator English to Spanish and Spanish to English in 2008, and got my contract renewed for a second year. I've also done some little jobs: translated an orchest flier of 9 pages French to Spanish for a French musician friend; translated the video subtitles for the "5 friends for Europe" from English to Spanish; translated a couple of texts for other freelance friends who paid me for the translation. That's all the experience I've got so far. I'm also taking currently a course of one week in CAT Tools and next week I'll be taking one about localization.

Other than that, I've lived one year in France (2009-2010) and got a DELF B2 level certificate, working as a Spanish teaching assistant. I've then lived one year in Pennsylvania, USA (2010-2011), working as a Spanish teaching assistant for Allegheny College. I got 99 our of 120 in my TOEFL exam in June.
I've taken one course in Business Introduction and another one in Financial Accounting, so I'm familiarised with economics' language in English.

Other than that, I love travelling and meeting people from just about any culture and language. I am interested in Anthropology, Education of Spanish around the world and Journalism, as I love writing and have plenty of blogs. I write my blogs mostly in Spanish but sometimes also in English and very randomly sometimes even in French, although my French is not yet as good as my English.

I am trying to learn more languages to do a comparative-contrastive study of all Roman Languages. So far I know Spanish, French and Italian, understand more or less Catalonian and Galician, and am working on learning some Portuguese and Rumanian on my own. But that's only one of my projects.

I want to continue learning every day of my life and working with languages, as that's my goal in life.
