I am a dedicated, multilingual professional that has strong communication and organizational skills as well as attention detail. I have been working in the translation field for the last seven years with a focus on subtitles, technical documentation, software/website translation as well as journalism. I also have an extensive background in research relating marketing/pr, human rights, mass and alternative media and lengthy experience in online community building/management. This, combined with my comittment to understanding, using and developing new technologies, as well as my organizational experience makes me a great asset to your project.

I hold a BA degree in Media Studies and Modern Languages (focus in French, German and Italian) from Hampshire College in Massachusetts and have recently completed an MA in Media Design from the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam. I have also spent time living and/or working in Romania, Venezuela, Berlin and Los Angeles which has given me great insight in my ability to translate meaning across diverse cultures.
