Hi,I am a translator based in Gothenburg, Sweden. I started working as a freelance translator in the late seventies, translating from English to Swedish and from Swedish to English. Then in the eighties I was employed by the Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) as a translator for adapting their IT systems to the Swedish market. This included translating both the software user interface and the documentation for their products.In the early nineties I was employed by the WM-data consulting company to work with documentation and translation in their IT projects. I was engaged in WM-data projects for customers like Telia, Astra Zeneca and Volvo.In 2002 I was employed by the Volvo IT company to work with documentation and training materials for IT project management. This included translations from Swedish to English and from English to Swedish. I worked at Volvo IT until 2016, when I retired.Since the retirement I have continued working as a translator. I am also employed by Folkuniversitetet, on a part time basis, as a teacher of the Swedish language.I am now looking for additional translation assignments.Anders HåkmarGothenburg, Sweden
