Since my childhood fascination with the English language my interest for the language have only grown through life. As a teen I lived a year with an American family to accelerate my learning process and I have since nurtured a close relationship with both my American family and friends as well as the English language. 

My translation experience stem from my academic work where most literature is presented in English and needs to be translated into Norwegian. I have a master’s degree in social sciences within the topic of leadership/management and Child Protective Services. My thesis was written in Norwegian and later translated into English.

Professionally I read both Norwegian and English articles regularly, special interests are social work, management, leadership, and psychology. 

Privately I love reading fiction in both the English and the Norwegian language. My interests range from thrillers and suspense to drama and romance. I also enjoy reading history and watching movies. 

I am looking forward to taking my love for the Norwegian and English languages into new use by starting off as a freelance translator!
