I’m Noha Ali, a freelancer from Alexandria, Egypt. I started as a freelancer in 2013, immediately after I’d finished a translation course by Notting Hill College, and worked mainly on academic materials. I joined Arabic Localizer, a leading localization company in Egypt, in 2015 as a full-timer and worked there for ~ 2 years. There, I gained good experience in different translation industries. Now I work as an independent translator/editor with both direct clients and LSPs since late 2018. Beside my freelance work, I contribute as a volunteer in a number of projects: TED-OTP, Coursera, TWB, and Wikipedia. I also do simple and general translations from Turkish while I’m still learning the language. |
