A native Thai speaker with a passion for the English language and the art of translation, I have been working as a translator since I was a university student over 15 years ago.
I worked as a full-time subtitle translator at MTV Thailand from 2005-2008, translated over 500 episodes of MTV shows and interviews from English to Thai and vice versa. My responsibility included QCing other translators' performance, creating timecode subtitles, and embedded the subtitle files into the videos.
While working at MTV, I also worked as a freelance translator for subtitling and dubbing for True Visions, the company where MTV Thailand was broadcast, for eight years.
I've been working as a freelance subtitle translator and QCer for streaming services for almost three years. I've worked on over 250 projects, and have the Netflix's Hermes test score for Thai language of 91.33%.
Currently, I am a full-time English lecturer at Mahidol University in Thailand, where I teach English and translation courses to English major students.
I provide accurate and natural translations, with attention to current terminologies and cultural nuances, in a timely manner.
