O presente estudo tem como objetivo principal analisar como o processo de estruturação e reestruturação da previdência social afeta a dinâmica do mercado de trabalho, sobretudo na esfera do trabalho feminino. Sendo necessário o estudo do mercado de trabalho por ser esse a principal chave para compreender as desigualdades previdenciárias. Mesmo com os avanços nos direitos trabalhistas ao longo do tempo, a Previdência social vem sofrendo alterações nas suas regras com a justificativa de que ela vem apresentando déficits orçamentários e que a única forma de manter esse benefício assistencial seria por meio da revisão e aperfeiçoamento de suas regras. Para abordar o tema, tornou-se necessário realizar uma revisão teórica partindo da evolução histórica da previdência a fim de que se possa compreender os termos atuais e futuros a respeito da previdência social. Quanto aos seus fins esta é uma pesquisa descritiva e quanto aos seus meios uma pesquisa bibliográfica. Foram levantados dados estatísticos de institutos oficiais como da Fundação Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), do Ministério do Trabalho e da Previdência Social. Foi possível observar que as mulheres se encontram em trabalhos com menor qualificação e de baixa renda, em especial no trabalho doméstico, e como conseqüência apresenta taxas menores de contribuição.

The present study has as main purpose to analyze how the process of structuration and restructuration of Social Security affects the dynamics of the job market, especially in the sphere of employed women. The study of the job market is necessary because it is the major key to figure out the inequalities in the Social Security benefits. Even with the advances in the employment rights over time, the Social Security has been suffering modifications under the justification that it is presenting budged gaps and the unique way to maintain this social benefit would be through review and improvement of its rules. In order to approach the subject, was necessary to carry out a theorical review starting from the historical evolution of the Social Security so that its present and future terms can be figured out. With respect to the purposes, this is a descriptive research, and with respect to the methods, a bibliographic research. Statistical data of official institutes such as the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the Ministry of Labor and the Social Security was collected. It was possible to observe that women are occupying positions with lower qualification and lower payment, especially in household labor, and as consequence they present a lower rate of contribution.
